Privacy policy
Project 2029 is an initiative of Reform America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through project2029foramerica.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
We collect information only when you choose to provide it. That includes the email address you submit to subscribe to our newsletter, and any name, message, or contact details you send us directly. If you make a contribution, the donation is processed by ActBlue and the information you enter there is governed by ActBlue's own privacy policy; we receive donor records from ActBlue for accounting, acknowledgment, and reporting purposes.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand which work is reaching readers. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Services we rely on
Our site is hosted by Webflow. Our newsletter is delivered through Substack. Contributions are processed by ActBlue. Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them. We do not share your information with anyone else except where necessary to operate the site, comply with the law, or protect our rights.
Cookies
Our host sets a small number of cookies necessary for the site to function and to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia — you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to us and we will honor those requests within the time the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
Contact us
